An Xuan, Head of Development at SK Hynix, predicted at SEDEX 2026 that the performance scale of AI infrastructure will grow approximately 20-fold by 2030. He stated that the AI inference market is expanding across three dimensions: task complexity, context length, and request volume. As KV cache capacity expands accordingly, data must be distributed across storage tiers including HBM, DRAM, and SSD, making data migration a new bottleneck for performance and energy consumption.
