Robinhood receives approval to offer cryptocurrency services in the UK

Odaily News: Online brokerage Robinhood has been granted approval to offer cryptocurrency services in the UK. Its existing registration with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) means the company meets the regulator's anti-money laundering requirements. A more comprehensive crypto regulatory framework in the UK is set to take effect in October 2027, and Robinhood's approval for crypto services comes ahead of the implementation of that framework.
