JaredFromSubway’s MEV Bot Attacked, Suffers $7.5 Million Loss

According to on-chain analyst Blockaid (@blockaid_), the well-known Ethereum MEV bot JaredFromSubway (@jaredsmev) has been attacked, resulting in losses of approximately $7.5 million. The attacker constructed a deceptive MEV arbitrage path to trick the bot into automatically approving token transfers. Leveraging these open approvals—before they were revoked—the attacker drained WETH, USDC, and USDT from the bot’s contract. The stolen funds ultimately flowed to the attacker’s wallet address. Blockaid noted that this attack was not a conventional phishing attempt or smart contract vulnerability, but rather a targeted exploitation of the bot’s automated execution mechanism.

“White-Haired Stock Guru” Serenity Responds to Criticism: The Market, Not Angry Social Media Comments, is the Ultimate Arbiter of Right and Wrong

Odaily, "White-Haired Stock Guru" Serenity posted on X, reviewing his past experiences where his investment views faced skepticism. He stated that many original investment ideas initially face strong opposition, but ultimately the market becomes the standard for judging right and wrong. He has faced significant criticism for being bullish on several companies, for example:$AXTI: Early on, it was questioned as a "scam company," and related discussions even led to a ban from Reddit's WSB forum. However, it later received coverage from Reuters, and the performance of the Indium Phosphide (InP) substrate industry company, along with institutional investor validation, confirmed its logic.$RPI: Initially labeled a "meme stock" by the market, analysts believed it lacked fundamentals. However, earnings reports showed the company's future revenue growth expectation reached 58%, and it was subsequently re-evaluated as a high-growth AI hardware company.$SIVE: Once considered a "meme stock" by numerous investors, it later gained institutional buying support, including attention from Fidelity Research, JPMorgan Chase, and others, and announced partnerships with companies like Jabil and GlobalFoundries.Serenity stated, "The market will ultimately decide what is right or wrong, not the angry comments or posts on X (formerly Twitter)." He added that as each investment thesis gets validated one by one, the eventual market performance overshadows the early noise. He also listed several other cases that were initially doubted but later gained market recognition, including:$AAOI: Near $30, management was questioned as "untrustworthy";$LITE: At $300, the photonics industry was considered to be in a bubble;$RKLB: At $20, it was dismissed as just a low-revenue launch company;$HOOD: At $20, it faced negative sentiment due to the GameStop trading restriction incident;$IQE: Considered just a small UK company lacking partnerships in the photonics field;$SOI: Analysts at a European bank considered its valuation too high;$NBIS: Questioned for having no competitive moat;$INTC: The market thought it couldn't compete with TSMC;$MRVL: The market feared its ASIC market share would be taken by Broadcom;$AEHR: The market misinterpreted its earnings report, thinking the company lacked revenue;$EWY: The market believed the South Korean semiconductor cycle was in a bubble.

Nansen CEO: AI infrastructure may be repriced, bubble could burst after enterprises adopt Chinese models

Odaily News Alex Svanevik, CEO of on-chain analytics platform Nansen, stated that when enterprises begin effectively using Chinese large language models, the bubble in the AI industry may burst. While the U.S. regulatory environment could limit this process, the overall trend remains that Chinese models are continuously becoming more efficient, capable of running on non-cutting-edge hardware, while global GPU supply (including non-Nvidia chips) is increasing.Alex Svanevik also pointed out that the recent decline in H100 and H200 GPU rental prices reflects a shift in the supply-demand structure of computing power. He raised the question of how to interpret the market signal of declining GPU rental prices. As model efficiency improves alongside expanding computing power supply, the AI infrastructure market may be entering a phase of repricing.

Analyst: Hyperliquid’s average revenue per user is approximately $56.42 million, far exceeding that of traditional trading platforms such as the CME Group.

Analysis shows that Hyperliquid achieves extremely high efficiency under the “protocol-level infrastructure” model: revenue is nearly equivalent to net profit, and operating costs are close to minimal, reflecting a structural characteristic where “revenue does not scale linearly with headcount.” However, this current advantage exists at a stage where regulatory and compliance costs have not yet been fully realized; should compliance pressures increase in the future, profitability may contract.

CryptoQuant Founder: Bitcoin-to-altcoin capital rotation has largely disappeared, and the altcoin season logic may have changed

CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju stated that the phenomenon of capital flowing from Bitcoin to altcoins, which once drove altcoin market trends, has largely disappeared. He pointed out that since 2021, the trading volume of altcoins paired against BTC has significantly shrunk, and the market structure has undergone notable changes.Ki Young Ju believes that the era where "a rise in Bitcoin leads to a broad rally in altcoins" may have ended. In the future, altcoins may rely more on their own fundamentals, use cases, and independent capital inflows to drive price increases.

Aave survives $8.45 billion withdrawal pressure, but DeFi hidden risks come under renewed scrutiny

Odaily Aave, a DeFi lending protocol, successfully maintained operations after experiencing capital outflows totaling approximately $8.45 billion. However, the incident has simultaneously triggered renewed market discussion regarding its risk structure and the fragility of the DeFi system. This stress event originated from a vulnerability exploit on the KelpDAO rsETH cross-chain bridge in April 2026, resulting in the theft of approximately $292 million in assets. This triggered market concerns over the safety of rsETH collateral. As this asset was widely used as collateral on Aave, panic spread rapidly, leading to concentrated withdrawals by users.During the capital outflow process, liquidity in certain lending markets was quickly depleted, with utilization rates briefly approaching 100%. Aave managed the situation by adjusting risk parameters and activating emergency mechanisms, although localized withdrawal restrictions did occur.Nevertheless, Aave's core smart contracts were not compromised. Protocol founder Stani Kulechov stated that the event validated the system's stability and resilience under extreme stress conditions. However, analysts pointed out that this incident exposed structural risks within DeFi: high coupling of assets across protocols, reliance on external bridged assets for collateral, and the potential for liquidity to rapidly evaporate in extreme scenarios.Industry observers believe that while DeFi's "composability" enhances efficiency, it also accelerates risk transmission, potentially causing a single asset event to trigger systemic cascading effects. Although Aave successfully navigated this stress test, the outcome does not equate to the elimination of risk.Overall, this event is viewed as a genuine extreme stress test for the DeFi lending system: the system can function, but its stability remains highly dependent on the quality of external assets and the market liquidity environment. Specter:THORChain shutdown over a month raises questions, with almost no transactions on the entire chain

on-chain security researcher Specter posted on X, stating that THORChain has not resumed normal operations for over a month after suspending all transactions due to a security vulnerability incident. The protocol previously did not choose to suspend transactions during other security incidents or suspicious fund flows; it even continued operating simple ETH-BTC paths. However, after becoming the affected party this time, it completely halted cross-chain transactions, sparking community discussion about the consistency of its risk management. Currently, THORChain on-chain trading remains completely stagnant, with almost no transactions on the entire chain. The recovery timeline remains unclear, and Specter reminds community users to "stay alert."
